One of the questions most readers at Guide to Copenhagen ask is where to eat close to Nørreport Station. Sometimes you have time to catch a brunch before heading to the airport and want something close to the metro. Sometimes you have a few hours, before you are taking the train. The reason really doesn’t matter. The answer does however, and here are three good places close to the station.

Breakfast, snacks and dinner: Kalaset
I believe that you can get the best brunch in town at Kalaset. They have a big brunch plate as well as small alternatives, like pancakes with fresh fruits and berries. Yum! If it isn’t breakfast time, they have good snacks and dinner as well.
Address: Vendersgade 16

Great coffee close by: Kent Kaffe Laboratorium
If you want a cup of amazing coffee, you have to visit Kent Kaffe Laboratorium. The man owning the shop, Erik, makes the best coffee you can imagine. If you want a piece of bread or a croissant with your coffee, that’s not impossible either.
Address: Nørre Farimagsgade 70

The dinner alternative: La Petanque
This small French restaurant is really cozy. There are mainly pancakes at the menu, so if your heart beats a bit extra for French food and crepés, this is the place to go for dinner.
Address: Rømersgade 9
