Summer is all about ice cream, ice coffee and ice tea. Copenhagen has many good places for exactly that and here are three of the ice cream places I visit often.

Olufs Is
This place might be the most hyped ice cream place in all of Copenhagen, and it’s not just empty words. It’s actually that good. Olufs Is makes Italian ice cream sticks in every single flavor you’ve ever dreamt about, and I come again and again.
Address: Olufsvej 6, Østerbro

Isværket is a neighbor of mine, so the majority of my ice cream consumption take place here. I love their ice coffee, which is a mix of coffee and ice cream. There “normal” ice cream is great as well, but if you like coffee, you got to try the ice coffee.
Address: Stefansgade 15, Nørrebro

Frederiksborggades Is
I really like Frederiksborggades Is. It’s a quite small store close to Nørreport, serving ice cream from an ice cream brand called Hansens Is. Hansens Is is quite old school and their ice cream is delicious.
Address: Frederiksborggade 29, Copenhagen

Bonus information!
Sometimes you can by special “ice cream-posters” at Frederiksborggades Is, with illustrations of ice cream and Hansens Is. Maybe the prettiest commercial posters I’ve seen in a long time.
