Copenhagen is full of food events between the 21st and 30th of August – it’s time for Copenhagen Cooking. No matter if you like adventures, gourmet food, street dinners or something else, there is something for you in the program. You’ll need a ticket to many of the events, but some are free. We’ve found three exciting events you don’t need to pay for.

Late night cook off with Danish chefs
Sometimes it’s just as fun to see other people cook, as it is to cook yourself. This evening two Danish chefs will do a “cook off”, where they’ll prepare some dishes in front of an audience, before a jury will find a winner. Sounds fun, right?

Pop in preserving class
The organic restaurant MadMad Mad Bodega is hosting a free pop in preserving class in the middle of Copenhagen. At Guide to Copenhagen we like MadMad Mad Bodega and we’re thrilled that they want to share some of their wisdom with us.

Risotto world championship 2015
Do you want to know who makes the best risotto in the world? Now you don’t need to look any further. Outside Torvehallerne the porridge restaurant GRØD will host a competition, where the world’s best risotto chef will be found.
