Since I went on a road trip in France in the beginning of the summer, everything associated with France makes me smile. When the Film Critic Guy suggested that we should have dinner at a créperie Saturday evening, I said yes quite fast. I mean, pancakes AND a French place?! I like it.

Entering Le Pétanque, it’s just as I expected it to be. Cozy, lots of people with photos and images from France at the walls. The menu gives you the opportunity to mix and match in any way you want. The Film Critic guy and I ended up skipping the starter, had a pancake each for the main course and shared an outstanding delicious pancake with chestnut cream, almonds and whipped cream for dessert. Really good (even if I missed some more sallad at the side). At the table next to us, they dropped the main course. Instead they started with a soup and finished with a dessert pancake each. That’s probably the way I’ll do it as well, the next time I visit.
