F i n a l l y ! The streets are bathing in sunshine, and if you sit down where the wind can’t find you, you can take your jacket off. How amazing is that? I don’t know about you guys, but when the first sun comes, I always want to find good places outside, and then just sit. Sit forever, or at least until my coffee is done or the sun disappears again.

When you are new in town, it can be hard to know which cafés that have lots of sunshine. Here are three safe cards, where you can sit in the sun outside.

Taxa has one of the best locations in Copenhagen. The corner to Nørrebroparken is full of sunshine all day long, and is perfect for some people watching as well. If you don’t know what to order, I recommend their lemonade. It’s the best in town.

Kleist Kaffe
Kleist Kaffe is quite small inside, but the wide sidewalk outside makes room for lots of people to enjoy the sun. It’s situated at a quite big street, but you don’t really notice. The trees and the good place in the sun take your focus away.
Address: Frederiksberg Alle 12, Frederiksberg

Isværket & Riccos
Isværket and Riccos at Stefansgade are neighbors, and when the sun hits the sidewalk outside in the afternoon, the benches outside the two places are full of people. If you fancy a normal coffee, Ricco is the place to go. If you fancy an ice coffee (or actually – if you fancy the best ice coffee that Copenhagen can offer!), Isværket is the place to go. Isværket also has normal ice cream, so there are many options.
Address: Stefansgade 15, Nørrebro
