guide-to-copenhagen-bar-beer-von-fressen1

If you’re on Twitter, you probably know about these meet ups in real life, where people from Twitter meet for beer. In Copenhagen, these are called #twedagsbar and are almost always hold at this bar, Von Fressen. #Twedagsbar is the reason that I first discovered Von Fressen, and after that I’ve been there many times.

Von Fressen is one of those bars (or cafés, depending on what time you visit) with dark interiors, frequenters and many different beers – especially from Germany. If you’re up for some food, they serve brunch most of the day, together with burgers and other small dishes.

When I’m there with a friend, I usually sit up in the small “room” to the right. The room is connected to the rest of the bar by small holes in the wall, which leaves the best chances for looking at the other guests. And since I’m the curious type, looking at the other guests is always one of my favorite things to do.

When I’m there for #twedagsbar, I always end up sitting in the bar, hanging out, walking around – just to be able to talk to as many people as possible. No matter if it’s crowded or not, this place always has a good atmosphere – something quite unique, that not all places can pull off.
