Sometimes I experience evenings when I neither want to rock the dance floor, or sit on a high bar chair in the bar. I usually refer to those evenings as my “I’m not sure what I want to do”-evenings. Most of the times, those evenings’ end at Dupong.
Dupong is not only one of my favorite bars in Copenhagen. It’s also a ping-pong bar! The concept is easy. When you buy a beer, you ask for a bat as well. We play around the table with all other guests. I like it, because it reminds me of a private party full of nice people that you don’t know yet. You cheer with strangers. You high-five with strangers.
So far, I’ve only visited Dupong wearing high heels. It’s stupid. Great ping-pong players don’t wear high heels while playing. The only good thing is that I can blame the shoes, when I don’t win.
