Jazz concert. Summer outside and smiling people that stand close together waiting. The Danish Film Critic-guy smiles charmingly to the girl behind the bar, and asks for a “beer tasting”. It costs 130 DKK (at least it did, when I was there last time) and we get eight small glasses with different beers. Nørrebro Bryghus happily gives you a beer tasting on a normal night, however, when here’s a concert going on and lots of people, you need to smile a bit extra and cross your fingers. It’s good that the Danish Film Critic-guy is so cute when he smiles.
So, we get our eight small glasses. Under each glass, we find a small note, stating what kind of beer the glass contains. I start with the raspberry beer, and then one with licorice. We listen to the music, taste a bit more. The more we try, the better it tastes (like always).
