Finding good beer bars in Copenhagen is no problem. No matter if you’re looking for cheap beer, cool places or a big selection, Copenhagen has something for you. Here are three very different places with one thing in common. You can drink beer there.

Guide to Copenhagen: Kølsters Tolv Haner
Kølsters Tolv Haner
This bright place is my new favorite bar in Copenhagen. Kølsters Tolv Haner (Kølsters twelve taps) only serves organic beers and right now the selection is quite light. You can only buy beers in small glasses, which gives you plenty of opportunity to try several different ones. Right now they have a fantastic one with elder flowers, and the selection changes regularly.

Guide to Copenhagen: Fermentoren
In a celler at Halmtorvet at Vesterbro you’ll find Fermentoren. Fermentoren has quite a big selection of beers and if you can’t make up your mind, they have a special small glass, which they use when serving small samples. It’s a nice place with lots of personality. If you visit in the summer, there are plenty of seats outside.

Kronborggade 3
Even if I don’t smoke and usually don’t hang out that much at classic Danish “bodegas” (small beer bars where you can smoke inside), I think the bar Kronborggade 3 deserves a spot in this top 3. Because Copenhagen is full of bodegas – where the beers cost near to nothing and you always can light a cigarette. This is my favorite one in that category.
